1 Statement on Human Trafficking and Slavery

Taiwan Ceramics Company is firmly committed to opposing all forms of human trafficking and slavery. We believe that every person has the right to dignity and freedom. We are committed to prioritizing human rights in our business operations and taking all necessary measures to ensure that our supply chain is free of any form of forced labor, human trafficking or slavery.
We will:
Zero Tolerance: Maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of forced labor, human trafficking, and slavery.
Supplier Screening: We rigorously review our suppliers to ensure they comply with all applicable laws and regulations and commit not to use any form of forced labor.

2 Employee Human Rights

1) Never force employees to work

2) Never participate in human trafficking

3) Never confiscate employees’ ID or passports

4) Never employ child labor

5) Never discriminate, and treat people of different races, skin colors, classes, languages, ideologies, religions, political parties, genders, marital status, and physical and mental disabilities fairly.

6) Never employ anyone who is engaging in illegal activities.

7) Employees will never be allowed to be sexually harassed or sexually exploited.

3 Labor Standards Act

Taiwan Ceramics Company exercises employee rights in accordance with the Labor Standards Act of Taiwan, inclduing 

1) When an employee resigns in accordance with the Labor Standards Act, the company shall not make things difficult for them by deducting their salary. 

2) The salary shall not be lower than the published minimum wage.

3) Workplace agreements shall be conducted in accordance with the Labor Standards Act.

4) The normal working hours of workers shall not exceed 40 hours per week. If the employer wishes to extend the working hours of workers, it must be agreed by the employees and shall not exceed the regulations of Labor Standards Act.

5) Employees may apply holidays or vacations in accordance with the Labor Standards Act, and the company may not intentionally make things difficult for them.
